Overview:
Omsana AM 5/40mg Tablet contains Amlodipine (5mg) and Olmesartan Medoxomil (40mg). This combination is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and coronary artery disease, helping to relax blood vessels for easier blood flow.
How It Works:
Amlodipine: A calcium channel blocker that helps relax blood vessels.
Olmesartan Medoxomil: An ARB that blocks angiotensin II, reducing blood pressure and improving circulation.
Side Effects:
Common: Dizziness, lightheadedness, stomach upset.
Less common: Irregular heartbeat, severe or persistent nausea.
Rare: Swelling of ankles or feet, signs of kidney problems, muscle weakness.
