Overview:
ONSET 8MG Tablet contains ondansetron, an antiemetic that is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery, or other stomach-related disorders. Ondansetron works by blocking serotonin, a natural substance in the brain that triggers nausea and vomiting.
Uses:
Prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy.
Prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting caused by radiation therapy.
Prevention and treatment of postoperative nausea and vomiting.
Side Effects:
Common: Headache, constipation, dizziness.
Less common: Diarrhea, fatigue, dry mouth.
Rare: Severe allergic reactions, changes in heart rhythm.
Precautions:
